Perform accounting work for a major area of the University. Work within Accounting Operations – apply advanced accounting knowledge and ability in the preparation of a variety of complex regular and special financial transactions and reports.
- Bachelor's Degree – Accounting or Finance. - Three to five years of accounting work experience. An equivalent level of education and/or experience is acceptable. - ERP Accounting Systems – Intermediate proficiency.
Preferred Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. -3+ years of experience in accounting or finance department. -Intermediate proficiency in ERP accounting system. -Ability to work independently, including task coordination and decision making, as well as in a team environment. -Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. -Proficiency in advanced functions of the full Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel. -A successful candidate must be a self-starter, who is detail oriented, has the ability to meet deadline-oriented tasks, possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and analytical skills. -Applicant must be able to adjust readily to multiple demands and shifting priorities and work well in a team environment.
