The Department of Finance in C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston seeks qualified applications for a non-tenure track, part-time Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Commercial Banking Program.

The part-time, non-benefits eligible faculty member is to be tasked with curriculum development for commercial banking program. Duties are to meet with an array of industry contacts to understand their needs and design basic concepts of instructional programs tailored to current industry needs.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in the discipline for teaching at the undergraduate level or PhD in the discipline for teaching at the graduate level. Candidates with extensive executive work experience may also be considered.

Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
